COVID-19 Issues

The current COVID-19 pandemic is evolving and changing moment by moment, bringing with it a range of uncertainties. We want to take this opportunity to update our customers on how Athlegen is working through this difficult time.


Currently, we are continuing to manufacture with additional internal measures to ensure that staff can work safely at all times. If a production or supplier issue causes a delay to your order, we will inform you. If we do not contact you, it means that your order is on schedule.

Australian Made Portable Tables

COVID-19 Update: Unfortunately at this time all Australian made Portable tables are unavailable.

All manufacturing of new orders for all Australian made portable tables is currently suspended until further notice. We will update you with further information as the situation continues to develop.


We dispatch orders with several external freight contractors. We will continue to monitor their services, and if there is a delay in the shipping of orders, we will inform you immediately.

Maintenance on customer premises

We have decided to temporarily postpone performing preventive servicing and maintenance work that is not urgent until further notice.

We will deal with emergency service requests on a case by case basis. We will need to consider the protection of our staff, your practitioners and patients, especially if your practice is treating vulnerable people where limiting unnecessary exposure is in their best interests.



As of the 5th of November the Melbourne Showroom will once again be open by appointment only. We will be available for appointments most Tuesdays, and available on a case by case basis Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please book an appointment a few days in advance.


Our Western Australian showroom is now open by appointment only. This showroom is not always attended and you must call to book an appointment in advance. We are taking every precaution necessary to keep our staff and customers safe. We will not be accepting cash payments at this time. Credit card facilities and bank transfer payment options are still available.


Our Sydney showroom is now open to the public again. We are taking every precaution necessary to keep our staff and customers safe.  Credit card facilities and bank transfer payment options are still available. Please Note: Our opening hours are now 9:00 am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday.

Commitment to Service

Athlegen staff are still available to support you where needed. In the event of a lockdown, most staff will be able to resume activities from home. Please feel free to get in touch with the team on our standard contact numbers (see website for details) if you have any queries or questions.

We will endeavour to provide the best customer service possible during this period, but please remain patient as some responses and actions may be slower than usual.

We have been manufacturing treatment tables in Australia for more than 30 years and we are doing our best to minimize any disruptions to our supply or service during these difficult times.
